We at Southern Cross Bakery have been working hard for the past few weeks on designs for the change of season. We are pleased to announce the debut of a new model this Saturday, October 4: the Chicken Curry Pie, a daring mix of tender chicken and potato pieces in a saucy yellow curry base, cheekily encased in short-crust and flaky pastry. With a nod to the past, our Fall/Winter Collection also has a slight retro feel, with the return of the Bacon & Egg Pie: a traditional favourite down under, brought up to date with a hint of spice. Subtle yet tasteful. Come visit us at the Kensington Farmers Market in Washington’s Maryland suburbs on Saturdays 9am-1pm (winter hours).
