FALL/WINTER COLLECTION AT SOUTHERN CROSS BAKERY

FIVE PIESWe at Southern Cross Bakery have been working hard for the past few weeks on designs for the change of season. We are pleased to announce the debut of a new model this Saturday, October 4: the Chicken Curry Pie, a daring mix of tender chicken and potato pieces in a saucy yellow curry base, cheekily encased in short-crust and flaky pastry. With a nod to the past, our Fall/Winter Collection also has a slight retro feel, with the return of the Bacon & Egg Pie: a traditional favourite down under, brought up to date with a hint of spice. Subtle yet tasteful. Come visit us at the Kensington Farmers Market in Washington’s Maryland suburbs on Saturdays 9am-1pm (winter hours).
